Equinox
PREVIOUS ARTICLE TEXT:"March 21 is also the usual date of the vernal equinox (first day of spring) in the Northern Hemisphere, and the autumnal equinox (first day of autumn) in the Southern Hemisphere." CORRECTION: It should be noted that OVER 90% of the recent occurrances of the Vernal Equinox have fallen on MARCH 20th for persons living in the US' Eastern Standard Time zone. earrach
- But over 95% of the world's population do not live in the United States. Qzm (talk) 20:07, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
Quote: "although astronomically the equinox is more likely to fall on March 20 in all but the most easterly latitudes" Surely latitudes? I've got the feeling 'longitudes' would be the proper word... Jancikotuc (talk) 22:31, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
Christ
I removed "000 Jesus Nailed to Cross". I believe it to be vandalism, but it may just be poorly formated and with the wrong date (we don't know what year he was crucified, let alone the date). CsikosLo (talk) 16:58, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

Well, the exact date is not known, but I always thought our calendar starts more or less with the birth of Christ, not his crucifixion... But it does not belong here, anyway Jancikotuc (talk) 22:34, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
