actually i would like to add about one of our succesfull father hood of the blando clan as i recall i stayed with manong pedro blando and he himself was a good friend of gen marcelo blando manoy pedro as we call him in cebuano called for older brother he was a cadre first seargent of fort bonifacio as a direct responsible of all the business inside the camp limited to maintenance of the camp and to end up in his retirement he was once a korean war veterans on the 10th bct which is the first batch to fight againstthe aggression of north korea that left only a few out of a battalion team that he was one of the body guard of general ojeda that resigned his post due to miss coordination of the command, i recall also man0y pedro blando once upon a time me and him pay a visit of miguel bvlando i may thought some one may know him will but in the year 1980 i meet him personally and he was quite ill at that time , we talk for awhile and he tells me a brief history of how he become one of the great man on our clan,

he was once a news paper vendor in cebu city at the american ship rebuilding yard during his child hood time and  in the year about 1920 and as a poor looking boy he was convince by the ship chief cook to go with him to america and with out hesitation miguel went with the chief in a voy goin to the states , in america he was send to school to became a pilot and he was , then the 2nd world war broke he was bomber pilot and he was very anxious to let his family knew that he is a pilot unfortunately he was gunned down over in cebu so he should up to his mom and dad that he was still alive and soo much surprice on his home coming by the way they had long time made a burial ceremony for miguel they thought he was murdered of run over without the knowledge of his family,

after the war he was commissioned again by the american air force then he retired went back to philippines and became one of the pilot of philippine air line and he was one of the president of the pal labor union and now he is one of our history we may can obtain some of his where abouts someday he is from baroy lanao del norte —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.54.67.130 (talk) 15:28, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
