From Wikipedia:Categorization#Categorizing pages, "In addition, each categorized page should be placed in all of the most specific categories to which it logically belongs." In the "People from ..." category hierarchy, the most specific cat is "People from Rutherglen". In the "Sportspeople from ..." category hierarchy, the most specific cat is "Sportspeople from South Lanarkshire". Both cats are sub-cats of "People from South Lanarkshire", but he should be in both, not just one. There is no "Sportspeople from Rutherglen" cat so using both is perfectly logical and perfectly acceptable. Tewapack (talk) 02:00, 28 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
