Mark and Lard moved from the Breakfast slot to the afternoon in September 1997, not January 1998.

Rocket Science

Something to this effect been said on the 6th of May, too. Incidentally - I once tried to contact him via bbc - on the subject of how my Russian article on Marc Riley could be 'embellished', using his own word - but instead of Marc's answer received some <unspeakably unpleasant> note from the bbc itself, informing me of - well, some kind of e-mail overload, or whatever.
