Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because this article is about constitutional body, this body is meant to develop Marathwada region of Maharashtra but most of people even don't know this constitutional body created by order of President of India. I have given proper references of Government website of same body, this body deserves an article and people should know about it. Government is created by and belongs to common people of India and we people do have rights on websites of Government. --Human3015 (talk) 22:11, 12 February 2015 (UTC)
- I agree that the board is notable enough to have an article on wikipedia, or at least is not a speedy-delete candidate (arguably we can have a higher level article on such statutory development boards into which this can be merged, but I haven't researched the subject enough to see if that makes sense). In any case, I have removed the speedy tag and the article is unlikely to get deleted.
- That isue aside, it would help the reader if the article was expanded, especially using independent sources (ie other that the MSDB website), such as the Planning Commission report I have linked from the page. Hope you will take up that task. Feel free to ping me if you have any questions and also take a look at WP:FIRST for useful tips. PS: I have slightly copyedited your post above to fix the position of the signature etc. Hope that is ok with you. Abecedare (talk) 22:33, 12 February 2015 (UTC)
