Poorly named article
[edit]I believe that at least 90% of the time, Marat will mean Jean-Paul Marat. This ought to be at Marat (name). Marat should be a redirect to Jean-Paul Marat with a {{redirect}} and this a Marat (disambiguation) for those (few) who are seeking this article. - Jmabel | Talk 00:19, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
- Moved this to Marat (name); I've had a slight further thought, and Marat will redirect to Jean-Paul Marat, keeping the disambiguation at Marat (disambiguation). - Jmabel | Talk 17:56, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
French revoulutionist
[edit]The connection to the French revolutionist is, at best, questionable. Rather, the Arabic/Islamic roots of the name, with a general meaning of "The Desired One," should be examined.
