What is the name of the river flowing through Maragheh? If I enter Soyuq Chay into GOOGLE, there are found only articles derived from the WIKIPEDIA article. If I enter Safi Chai as in the french WIKIPEDIA, I find numerous articles not derived from WIKIPEDIA.
Where does the Maragha marble comes from? Dashkesen is a town in the Republic of Azerbaidshan, hundreds of kilometers north of Maragheh, where mining of iron ore and also marble takes place. Are there two places with this name? Older geographical articles say that the marble comes from the eastern shore of Lake Urmia near the town of Azar-Shah. I found locations Dehkhvaregan or Dash Kesen, indicating to two locations Dashkesen. Siffler 14:15, 28 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What is the relation of Arp Aslan with Maragheh?Siffler 18:54, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Safi Chay is more official but it sounds like being a persianized name. --YusuF 22:54, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
