Hi @Nathan2055, what's the story with reverting this article to draft? Can you explain why you did what you did? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mewestin (talkcontribs) 21:21, 3 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Mewestin: The article does not have enough independent sources as it is right now to meet the notability guideline for academics. Please take a look at those pages and the pages linked in the decline message on the draft, and then add some additional sources and resubmit your draft for review. Thank you for your contributions! @Nathan2055: The sources are from several different Latin American academic publications, Latin American encyclopedias, and a recent article written by a PhD student in information science.

The subject of this article founded the national public library system in Cuba. This easily meets notability guidelines for librarians. There is a difference between a librarian and an academic. :)

The subject of my article has an Italian Wikipedia page. Is she notable enough for Italy but not for English?

@Nathan2055: I have added a number of references.

Please note that Redalyc and Scielo are the major academic publishing platforms in Latin America.

@Calliopejen1: Thanks so much for your help with this one! :) Means a lot. Mewestin (talk) 19:23, 6 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
