- María (tango) → María (Cátulo Castillo song)
- Don Juan (tango) → Don Juan (Ernesto Ponzio song)
- Sur (tango) → Sur (song)
- Volver (tango) → Volver (song)
- Adiós muchachos (tango) → Adiós muchachos (song)
- Uno (tango) → Uno (Enrique Santos Discépolo and Mariano Mores song)
- Mi Buenos Aires querido (tango) → Mi Buenos Aires querido (song)
- Malena (tango) → Malena (song)
- Nina Miranda (tango singer) → Nina Miranda (Uruguayan singer)
– Ignoring that some of these songs lack of WP:Notability, there is no particular reason for them to use their genre/style, tango, instead of the WP:NCM standard "song". The last one was ambiguous, so I added her here. © Tbhotch™ (en-2.5). 00:38, 15 October 2018 (UTC)
- Comment the notability comment is ageist. WP:Notability is decided by WP:RS references such as in GBooks, which I'm pretty certain all of these classic tango songs have in spades, compared to the passing dross that fills Category:2018 songs. In ictu oculi (talk) 08:16, 15 October 2018 (UTC)
- (NB the Nina Miranda article is clearly mislabelled and could/should be WP:TR moved and removed from the nom, however as the nom has started I've WP:MOVED it to (tango singer) for the time being, next 7 days, for the purposes of clarity, while we work out what to do with it - for the record support that move to nationality) In ictu oculi (talk) 08:19, 15 October 2018 (UTC)
- Re, Mi Buenos Aires querido (tango) that should really be Primary Topic, the two films are based on the song and of lesser notability. In ictu oculi (talk) 11:13, 15 October 2018 (UTC)
- Notability is demonstrated by non-trivial multiple reliable sources, not by the assumption that sources exist. And ageism would be the weird idea that something is notable solely because it has been mentioned by printed media and not by online sources, as if online sources where inherently unreliable. © Tbhotch™ (en-2.5). 11:26, 15 October 2018 (UTC)
- Not sure who is assuming that sources exist. We know that sources exist for classic tangos just as classic jazz standards. Anyway, as regards the bulk request. One problem I can see is that some of these tangos are more notable in instrumental form than the sung version. Though we generally defer to (song) rather than (instrumental) if in doubt. I can't see it greatly matters as readers will still naturally search title + tango, so moving them to (song) will not greatly inconvenience readers. In ictu oculi (talk) 12:01, 15 October 2018 (UTC)
