Yet another type of mixed languages are the several Chinese dialects spoken by minorities. [...] Maojiahua is a Chinese variety spoken by 200,000 speakers in southern Hunan (Chengbu) and adjacent areas in Guangxi, by a Miao group with the ethnonym Au Ka. The language might be an original one (and therefore, the group might be originally Chinese), or it might have been adopted by this Miao group at a later date.
