@Beatley: You wrote that Vera "participated in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro." I don't know what that means, but given his age, he certainly wouldn't have participated as an athlete. As the information was unreferenced, and is also not contained in the Spanish version of the article, I've removed that part. If he was there as an official, feel free to add the info again, maybe with less ambiguous wording, but certainly with a reference as is a requirement for BLPs.
