Establishing better context to Lozada's rise to power and adding more sources

[edit]

As I was reading the article I realized that there wasn't a clear explanation on how Lozada rose through the ranks since it only really talked about his early career as a bandit and then skips to being a militia leader. The article is also missing key information on how Lozada established his relationships with people in power and his enemies. I plan on adding how Lozada established his connections and enemies, more information about his military career, and his political affiliations as it plays a big part in why he established certain connections. These contributions are important because it gives readers a better understanding of who Lozada was and why he fought for certain groups.

I plan on adding more sources such as information from Mexico's national database, first-hand documents from the government talking about countering Lozada's attacks, and excerpts from the Encylopedia of Mexican History to make sure that the article is not recycling the same sources over again. It's better to add varied sources as it helps establish many points, obtain more information that was previously missed, and makes sure the article is not biased because of the use of varied primary and secondary sources.
