Religion
[edit]Yes he is of Jewish background. (See for example this biography of his wife.) Is it relevant to this article? I don't know. In any case, this fact has been inserted and removed, again and again and again and over and over and over. Seems like it would be good to come to an agreement here, no? What is the norm for mentioning religion in biographies of living scientists? Noamz (talk) 17:13, 7 March 2012 (UTC)
- Normally, the approach taken is only to mention someone's religion or ethnicity if it's (a) reliably sourced and (b) in some way relevant to their notability. It doesn't seem particularly relevant here, so probably shouldn't be included. Robofish (talk) 10:15, 26 June 2012 (UTC)
better image?
[edit]Anyone have a better image of Blum usable in the public domain? Asking for use on Turing Award. Caleb Stanford (talk) 02:10, 13 November 2021 (UTC)
