Honestly, I think it is a bit silly that the primary use of the English word mantel is not the subject of this article. Sure: the fireplace mantel article and title is appropriate enough, but it's not like we're talking about even a common usage being the German municipality. C'mon; the article speaks for itself. It's one sentence. I am not sure if there is a way to check the statistics of look-ups in Wikipedia, but I am quite certain that the vast majority of people searching en.wikipedia.org (granted, not de.wikipedia.org) are looking for the shelf.--SidP (talk) 03:03, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
