Interwiki
[edit]I found two similar articles on the Spanish Wikipedia and would like to know if they're related to this one. The first article is es:Cultura manteña and the second is es:Cultura Huancavilca. If any one of them is about the same Manteño civilization, we could link this English article with the corresponding one on the Spanish Wikipedia. --Kimse (talk) 05:59, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
- You are right in thinking both relate to this article, I think the former covers the same topic area (the latter the distinct subgroup described in this article). - Jarry1250 [Humorous? Discuss.] 18:14, 22 April 2010 (UTC)

Status As A Civilization
[edit]Is the description of the Manteño-Huancavilca culture as a civilization on this page valid? From what I understand, the Manteño-Huancavilca culture lacked any system of record keeping which is one of the criteria of a civilization as established by Gordon Childe. Should it be referred to simply as the Manteño-Huancavilca culture instead? Nezahaulcoyotl (talk) 21:56, 30 June 2023 (UTC)
