Why is Manor Motorsport and the Manor F1 team being listed as separate articles? No other Formula One team with a background history in lower or 'ladder' categories has a separate listing for each of their teams, why break the mould here? It seems unneccssary splitting based on Wikipedia F1 precedence, so I propose merging the Manor Grand Prix article into Manor Motorsport, until such time as MGP begin testing or some such at which point a name change for the article can be contemplated, but as the moment the active competitive component is Manor Motorsport. --Falcadore (talk) 04:09, 17 September 2009 (UTC)

Article title
[edit]"Manor Motorsport Ltd" evolved into "Manor Grand Prix Racing Ltd" which is what the company is called at the present which is why I suggest moving this article to Manor Grand Prix Racing it makes a lot more sense. Speedy Question Mark (talk) 20:57, 24 April 2015 (UTC)
- It's actually untrue that Manor Motorsport Ltd [1] evolved into Manor Grand Prix Racing Ltd [2]. When "Manor" entered into F1 it wasn't Manor Motorsport, but John Booth and others who that created the new company Manor Grand Prix Racing Ltd, as can be seen in the separate company records referenced. The current article unfortunately blurs the history of the two as they were both called Manor and owned by John Booth. Manor Grand Prix Racing Ltd, the F1 team, is now owned by Stephens Fitzpatrick, while Manor Motorsport Ltd continues to be owned by John Booth. In sort, the Formula 1 team has never been Manor Motorsport. DreadPirateDresden (talk) 23:07, 19 January 2016 (UTC)
- In addition, they just announced a new public name for the F1 team ran by Manor Grand Prix Racing Ltd, it is now known as Manor Racing. [3] DreadPirateDresden (talk) 23:07, 19 January 2016 (UTC)
