Manor House Hotel → The Manor House – This is the new correct brand name for this hotel Carlafjames (talk) 19:33, 18 October 2023 (UTC) — Relisting. estar8806 (talk) ★ 19:51, 25 October 2023 (UTC)
- Support a move of some kind. Manor House (Wiltshire) would be preferable, per WP:THE, as Manor House alone is too generic. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Old Naval Rooftops (talk • contribs) 20:20, 18 October 2023 (UTC)
- Move to Manor House, Castle Combe, per usual British building disambiguation. Far too common a name to be primary here. The Manor House should continue to be a redirect to the disambiguation page. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:19, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
- Support The Manor House, Castle Combe as "The" is capitalized in running text and there are other manor houses that use "The". This is its title on Commons other than the fact it also has "Wiltshire". There are other listed buildings in Wiltshire called "Manor House" so The Manor House, Wiltshire may be too inprecise. Crouch, Swale (talk) 17:43, 25 October 2023 (UTC)
- It's notable as an historic building, not as an hotel (and even as an hotel was until recently the Manor House Hotel), so I don't think the current hotel branding, which is the only reason the definite article is often seen capitalised, is especially relevant. As an historic building, it's the Manor House in Castle Combe, not The Manor House. -- Necrothesp (talk) 10:38, 26 October 2023 (UTC)
- Relisting comment: Clear support for move, no consensus as to where estar8806 (talk) ★ 19:51, 25 October 2023 (UTC)
- Move to The Manor House, Castle Combe per Crouch, Swale, "The" is part of the name[1][2][3] and by Historic England's listing of the historic building, while "The Manor House" alone is too vague and there is a The Manor House, Kandy, so "The Manor House" should instead be maintained as the existing redirect to the DAB page.
