Sector 666
[edit]They were exiled because of the genocide in sector 666. --68.81.70.65 (talk) 20:06, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
"Coincidentally"?
[edit]The article says: 'The Manhunters usually chant the phrase, "No man escapes the Manhunters". Coincidentally, underneath their masks lies a chalky white skin, and their secret Earth base of operations was in Louisiana, a state with historic roots of voodoo, during the Millennium series.' What does the second sentence have to do with the first, and why is it coincidental? I see no connection at all. I suspect that the writer intended to reference some phrase connected with white skin or with voodoo, but to those of us unfamiliar with such a phrase, this paragraph is very confusing. Can anyone clarify? --Elysdir (talk) 18:29, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
Infobox
[edit]Just some notes on the infobox and the lead...
- While "debutmo" and "debutyr" are optional, they do cleanly add the month and year. "debutyr" also links the year to the proper "Year in comics" list.
- "android", which was removed, is used by the template to automatically put the article into Category:DC Comics robots.
- At the moment "species" is redundant. It was sitting there as a comment in the case that the article gets moved.
- As for the first appearance...
- Kirby's 1st Issue Special story does pre-date the JLofA issue and introduces some of the concepts that were later expanded by Englehart and others.
- The art is "Use the Golden Age Paul Kirk costume". That makes an art credit for Dick Dillin incorrect.
- J Greb (talk) 14:16, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
- Kirby's First Issue Special introduced Mark Shaw and the Manhunter Society not the android race. They were introduced later. So it's used a reference for Mark Shaw not the androids. --Xero (talk) 16:55, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
