Notable Alumni
[edit]- This section needs some attention; I think that it needs to be thinned quite a bit. Listing every graduate who has an occupation kind of defeats the purpose. I do not know any of these people, so I will leave it to someone more versed to make the decision. In the meantime, if someone would provide the graduation year for Philip Fox, so that he could be organized appropriately in the list, it would be appreciated. --Jp07 (talk) 06:38, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
- Philip Fox graduated in the 19th century. I don't know the year, but he is the oldest graduate on the list. Also, the list is not too long in my opinion. But if you want to propose standards for notability on this page, then feel free. I also preferred the list in alphabetical order rather than graduation date order, but don't really feel strongly about that. -Kgwo1972 (talk) 20:25, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
- Jared Hess attended Manhattan High for only two years and did not graduate school there. What is the criteria for inclusion in this alumni list? Is it simply anyone who ever attended school at MHS, however briefly? It might be more appropriate to create a list of actual alumni and a supplementary list of notable attendees. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.202.140.159 (talk) 15:48, 8 January 2013 (UTC)
