Manhatta as a Word

Perhaps it would be a nice addition for this article to discuss the meaning of Manhatta as Island of Many Hills or the less likely: Place of General Inebriation. I think the history of the word is more important than an unknown documentary film, so the article should be expanded. Please advise and I'd be happy to do so.
