The statement made in the article, that Manfred was premiered on 14 March 1852, is wrong. Only the ouverture was played at that concert in the Gewandhaus. The full work has been premiered on 13 June 1852 at the Court Theatre in Weimar. Byrons "Manfred" is a drama, which makes it about as much of a "poem" as Schumann's opera "Genoveva" is a "choral work". Byron's "Manfred" is not often staged, but it has been more than once with Schumann's incidental music.2A00:23C7:5A0B:8601:41B2:C651:8BA2:3DB6 (talk) 11:52, 8 June 2023 (UTC)
