Material on tuning moved from Mandore (instrument)
[edit]For the section on tuning, I moved material from article on the Mandore, to simplify that article. Mandora and mandore are two names that sometimes overlapped for the same instrument (especially prior to the 1700s). During the 1800s, mandora was the instrument described in this article, and the material moved from mandore is for the this version (the 1800s instrument). I may try to sort this tuning information out later. There was no citation in the tuning section.Jacqke (talk) 00:16, 3 November 2010 (UTC)
I have tried to limit this article to the bass-range instrument, and moved treble-ranged material to the article Mandore (instrument).Jacqke (talk) 23:08, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
Colascione
[edit]Why does Colascione redirect here? They are quite different instruments... 85.220.31.133 (talk) 10:54, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
