The vast majority of the work on this page has come from Brandopedia, every single one of whose edits is about Mandarin Oriental and who, by his/her own admission, "represent[s] the copyright holders" (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Adambro&diff=prev&oldid=323535826). He or she has also been linking to Mandarin Oriental from other pages and creating pages about specific Mandarin Oriental hotels, such as Mandarin Oriental New York. This is not necessarily a bad thing, given that a lot of content is being added, but it does make clear the obvious bias of the page. I mean, stuff like "The group regularly receives awards for its exemplary service" and "The Group's intention was to expand into Asia and operate hotels that would reflect the standard of service synonymous with their property in Hong Kong"? aristotle1990 (talk) 09:05, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
For the info on the Landmark Mandarin Oriental HK I think some errors have been made in using square meters instead of square feet. The website says their spa is 25000 s.f. and the biggest suite is 185 square meter, which makes an average suite size of 540 square meter a bit unrealistic. I guess the average room size must be 540 square feet! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.218.194.89 (talk) 05:16, 13 May 2010 (UTC)

Atlanta and Los Angeles
I suggests that we remove Atlanta and Los Angeles from the list since even MO has not made an offifical announcement regarding this two cities.
Fair use rationale for Image:Mandarin oriental group.gif
Image:Mandarin oriental group.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Boston
Mandarin Oriental (Boston) The Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Boston will open in June 2008 after numerous years of designing and decision making. The years of work will in the end be worth while, multiple condominiums in the upper levels of the hotel have sold from upwards of $2million all the way up to $15million, raising the median home price in the Back Bay area considerably. Famous Hollywood celebrities have bought condos in the hotel including, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Madonna, and Victoria Beckham. Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour also has bought a condo. One of Boston's most upscale restaurants L'Espalier has relocated to the hotel and plan's on being one of the most exclusive restaurants on the East Coast. High end fashion and jewelry houses have signed letter's of intent for opening up large world flagships in the hotel's arcade area. Stores so far confirmed to open are; an epicenter Prada, Graff, Yves Saint Laurent, Harry Winston and Balenciaga. The hotel has order over 30 Rolls Royce Phantom's to accomadate the guests by whisking them to their destination and to and from the airport. Once the hotel finally opens it will be recognized as one of the most prestigious and luxurious hotels in the world, and raise will raise the standard of luxury in the world city of Boston and other cities around the world.
This needs references. I've researched all of these claims and I can't find any of it to be true beside a press release from the official Mandarin oriental site (http://www.mandarinresidences.com/content/news/news.jsp?type=PressRelease&id=4). There are no references about a list of celebrities that have "bought" condos nor are there are references to 30 RRs or a "Prada epicenter."

Dallas and Atlanta
I have removed these two from development, because both are not under construction. Also, it is said that the Dallas location is canceled, since Dallas is now a very over-saturated market (like Atlanta) and the Victory Park area has been losing retailers every week as it is a ghost town. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.186.147.208 (talk) 07:41, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
Beijing
Why isn't the burned out hulk of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Beijing here? Does it embarrass the company? If so, that's not a very good reason. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 159.121.204.129 (talk) 00:44, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
