Formosan, Manchurian, and Dybowski’s deer

There are suppose to be 14 subspecies of the Sika deer. I am trying to figure some confusion out. I ran across C. n. hortulorum listed at Sika deer#Subspecies where 13 subspecies are listed but the subsection states "The status of C. n. hortulorum is particularly uncertain and might in fact be of mixed origin, hence it is not listed here." The lead states Manchurian sika deer or Dybowski's sika deer (Cervus nippon mantchuricus or cervus nippon dybowskii) which indicates that the Manchurian Sika and the Dybowski's Sika are the same. A reference here indicates Dybowski's sika deer (Cervus nippon hortulorum) is the same. Moreover, a reference here indicates

• Cervus nippon hortulorum Swinhoe, 1864 - Dybowski's Deer
• Cervus nippon mantchuricus (Swinhoe, 1864) - Manchurian Sika Deer
• China and Japanese islands in Asia. Includes 3 races": Formosan, Manchurian, and Dybowski’s deer Sitka deer.
• Elsevier's Dictionary of Mammals (p 92) here shows conflict with the article in showing Cervus nippon mantchuricus, Cervus nippon hortulorum, and cervus nippon dybowskii as separate subspecies.

I have not found one reference to indicate that the Manchurian sika deer and the Dybowski's sika deer is the same subspecies.
