[edit]the Manchester Academic Health Science Centre is an equivalent organisation to UCL Partners (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UCL_Partners), both of which are Academic Health Science Centres (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Academic_Health_Science_Centre). As well as the size of the organisation and the health benefits that it will bring, it is notable that it is the first Academic Health Science Centre outside of London. I shall add more facts about the Manchester Academic Health Science Centre tomorrow, please don't delete this page in the meantime. I am new to editing Wikipedia, so any constructive criticism will be welcomed. Disclaimer: I do work for the University of Manchester and with the people who set up the Centre.
