Re: Deletion of the article
[edit]I understand what you are saying about wikipedia not being a dictionary, but how do we draw the line? What is the difference in having an article on what a MVP [1] or an CIO [2] is, but not what a MSSP is? In fact, we even have an article that defines what a Dictionary is! [3] How is this any different? I have taken off the auto-delete until I can get some discussion going on this... Thanks. Anapologetos (talk) 14:23, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
Re-Establishment of Article
[edit]Not sure why this page was deleted, but obviously a relevant topic in the InfoSec community. [4] Will try and flesh out more as time permits. Anapologetos (talk) 16:10, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
Should Gartner information be added to this page?
[edit]Gartner has a great definition for MSSP here http://www.gartner.com/it-glossary/mssp-managed-security-service-provider. Maybe this can be included somehow if Gartner is established as an authority on MSSP. Or is it common knowledge that Gartner is an authority and that fact can be simply stated?
Gartner provides a Magic Quadrant study every year that illustrates how different MSSP vendors perform. Would this be appropriate to mention or include on the page? --G J Lee (talk) 20:43, 26 June 2015 (UTC)
External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Managed security service. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
- Attempted to fix sourcing for http://www.uswest.com/com/atwork/interprise/031297_security.html/
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}
