Calcifications

May be there should be some discussion of calcifications. —KetanPanchaltaLK 16:28, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

Dr Raul Leborgne, in Uruguay , was the first to describe the microcalcifications with the technique he described in the 1940s, and publishe dthe first classic textbook: Roentgenoloy of the breast in 1953.

Merger Discussion

Request received to merge articles: Digital mammography into Mammography; dated: December 2016. Proposer's Rationale: Digital mammography simply refers to a technique/type of x-ray machine used for mammography, virtually everything in the main article still applies to digital mammography and so I think it would be more appropriate as a section of the mammography article. Discuss here. Beevil (talk) 13:44, 13 December 2016 (UTC)

Support. Most mammography in the developed world is digital mammography now. There's nothing in that article that couldn't more usefully be a section here. Bondegezou (talk) 16:37, 13 December 2016 (UTC)
