Is this article necessary?
[edit]Seems to me that Evolution of the eye and Eye are necessary, as well as the detail articles such as Retina. But I can't see any use for both Human eye and Mammalian eye; they overlap too much. Should perhaps Human eye be merged into this one? - Hordaland (talk) 14:31, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Proposed merge of Mammalian vision into Mammalian eye
[edit]Seemed to be carved out of Mammalian eye for an unexplained reason. The account that created it has been globally locked for extensive abuse. scope_creepTalk 16:23, 19 June 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose For the 2nd. One is a process, another is another organ in the body. Completely different knowledge domains. scope_creepTalk 23:00, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
Why is this article surprisingly human-centric?
[edit]Guys. This is an article about eyes in mammals yet why does this article still mention human exclusive stuff?
If you want to put human only information go to human eye because this is an article on mammals, not humans.
This is ridiculous. We need to fix this. LoverOfAllAnimalsActivist (talk) 10:34, 12 May 2024 (UTC)
