The present structure was built in 1883. I don't see how a slave hideaway could have been in the choir loft. The basement, however, dates back prior to the Civil War and does contain a fugitive slave hideaway and tunnel. If anyone knows of a choir loft hideaway in a previous structure, please post.claimman75 (talk) 18:12, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
