[edit]I've renamed the section "Apartheid" to "Income inequality" as the section treats issues wider than Apartheid. Also care should be taken not to overestimate the negative effects of Apartheid on today's nutritional status (Contrary to what the article seems to suggest. If The widespread poverty in Africa can be traced to many factors, one of the most prominent being Apartheid. then the question naturally arises why the rest of Africa that never had Apartheid is so much poorer than the RSA). Consider that most of Africa never had Apartheid, but their nutritional status is almost immeasurably worse than that of the RSA. Would there be no malnutrition at all in today's South Africa had there been no Apartheid? Most probably malnutrition would still be a problem, possibly even bigger than it is in fact.Dorpater (talk) 18:21, 30 September 2015 (UTC)
