Svetambara image?
[edit]Ms Sarah Welch, I guess you are indulging in OR by claiming the statue to be of Svetambara affiliation. This statue has no such mention, please share a source where you see this statue been discribed as so. Further, this is a nude statue, and neither of Jain sects talk about nude Ascetism for female. So how can it be of Svetambara origin? In addition to that, Svetambara iconography is not evident on the statue. No decoration, no glass eyes, no throne, no clothes. Please share a WP:RS or withdraw your strange WP:OR. -- Pankaj Jain Capankajsmilyo (talk · contribs · count) 00:13, 6 May 2017 (UTC)
- Are you suggesting that we remove the image? It is OR, by the person who uploaded it. I don't see any sources cited by the uploader. Ms Sarah Welch (talk) 00:46, 6 May 2017 (UTC)
- What makes you think that this statue is of a female? -- Pankaj Jain Capankajsmilyo (talk · contribs · count) 00:48, 6 May 2017 (UTC)
- Lets focus on OR, please. Do you have a source on behalf of the image uploader? Ms Sarah Welch (talk) 00:51, 6 May 2017 (UTC)
- Yes, I am. Do you have any source of claiming a nude statue of to be of a female Jain Tirthankara? -- Pankaj Jain Capankajsmilyo (talk · contribs · count) 00:54, 6 May 2017 (UTC)
