[edit]Mallavoodoo is one of the main instrumental music bands in Recife, Pernambuco Brazil. It is not so famous as other groups, such as Mutantes or Secos e Molhados. However, it is a reference to instrumental music and certainly it deserves articles in Wikipedia, about the band itself and about its works. It worths to note that the criation of this article contributes to the expansion of the knowledge about Brazilian music and culture.--Victor Silveira (talk) 03:43, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you Victor. Is there an article on them in the Portuguese Wiki? If so, you could do an interwiki link. Most critically, have there been any articles on them in mainstream publications or music trades in Brazil? If so, adding them as references would help ensure the article's survival, even if they are not in English. Good luck, Shawn in Montreal (talk) 03:47, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
- Shawn in Montreal, thank you for helping me. I added some references about this band as you advised me. I think there are many other articles published in local journals. However, I don't have them at this moment to cite on Wikipedia. Anyway, I'll try to find some. Mallavoodoo does not have a page in Portuguese Wiki. I could create one, but I do not know if it would help, since I would be the author of it. Victor Silveira (talk) 05:06, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
