In googling Malcolm Johnson I found that there is a football player by that name who, apparently, doesn't have a Wiki article himself. How shall we deal with this?--Mantanmoreland 17:52, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
Christianity project?
[edit]Johnson graduated from a Baptist school, but I am unclear how this puts him under the aegis of the project that relates to Baptism.--Mantanmoreland (talk) 15:49, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
- Basically, because he went to the Baptist school, which is within the scope of that project. Not necessarily the best answer, but the real one. At this point, one of the things I'm going to try to do with the Christianity project and its various subprojects is try to fix the incomprehensible mess that is the Category:Christianity. This involves trying to determine which subcats that are currently within the category really belong there. If and when that categorization is fixed, and if it is found that this article was only included because of then-changed categorization, as the person who placed the banner, I'd probably pull it myself. However, right now, determining the exact scope of any project is somewhat difficult, so I'd ask anyone to forbear removal of the banner until I and the rest of the project can work to fix the categorization schema. If any parties here were to want to join in such discussion, I know that I would personally welcome any input you might have to give. John Carter (talk) 19:07, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
- Ok. I was wondering because most everybody belongs to a religion, and hence can presumably be in the scope of a project. That would tend to make those projects unwieldy. --Mantanmoreland (talk) 23:00, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
