Double barrel surname.
[edit]@Ammarpad: I think the first move was correct, if you look at the two external links of Tottenham website and Soccerway, it appears Malachi Fagen-Walcott is the WP:COMMONNAME not the other way per suggestion. Govvy (talk) 11:36, 14 March 2020 (UTC)
- Hi @Govvy: I did not move it on my own volition so I don't have much to say. It was moved based on request by Ortizesp, (you can see that in the edit summary). You can either talk with with them or start a Move discussion. – Ammarpad (talk) 12:59, 14 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Ammarpad: I know, I saw it was a move request, I am just saying it was kinda incorrect thing to do. Govvy (talk) 13:13, 14 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Govvy:, No, it was not incorrect because it was challenging prior undiscussed move. If a page is moved without discussion, it's entitled to be reverted back to statu quo ante at request. The first move was undiscussed and it was challenged. Once challenged, an undiscussed move has to be reverted irrespective of its merit. If the reasons for the first undiscussed move are valid then they should be forwarded to RM discussion. – Ammarpad (talk) 13:52, 14 March 2020 (UTC)

Moved as proposed. BD2412 T 17:07, 30 March 2020 (UTC)
Malachi Walcott → Malachi Fagan-Walcott – It appears the player has a double-barrel surname per, Tottenham website and Soccerway, I believe this is the true WP:COMMONNAME, even know he is a relative new player and Commonname wouldn't really apply yet I still feel we should be titling the article correctly and that seems correct too two sources. - Support per nom and sources. GiantSnowman 14:39, 14 March 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose for now, older references list him as "Malachi Walcott". Looks like he might be switching his last name to the double-barrelled form, but it doesn't seem unilateral yet.--Ortizesp (talk) 16:43, 14 March 2020 (UTC)
- Support If even the club website says it, just move it. No questions asked. KingSkyLord (talk | contribs) 14:25, 30 March 2020 (UTC)
