I have posted a new article in the Temp page.......
Today's bombing (5-18-07)
[edit]Hope this new violence doesn't escalate tensions. Wonder if the relic was disturbed? Soltera 13:14, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
Pictures of mob rioting after the bomb blast show the main building is still standing.
Kind of Error on the page....
[edit]After the title on the Wikipedia page there is the translation into Telugu and Urdu in brackets, the thing is as Urdu uses the Arabic script and Mecca Masjid are two Arabic words, it's technically in Arabic, not Urdu. Correct me if I am wrong. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.32.120.156 (talk) 23:47, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
Wikilinks
[edit]I removed a lot of wikilinks from this article. Not because they were not relevant but because they were repeated several times. A word should be wikilinked once, the first time it is used in an article. After that it is not necessary to continue wikilinking it. LogicalFinance33 (talk) 16:47, 3 November 2011 (UTC)

Mecca Masjid → Makkah Masjid, Hyderabad – There are various mosques around the world with the name Makkah Masjid, including for example Makkah Masjid, Chennai. I suggest Makkah, rather than Mecca as this is in the info box, but a disambiguation page should be made. The current page Makkah Masjid only points to this one example, but should be a disambiguation page. Chemical Engineer (talk) 16:23, 14 September 2014 (UTC)
- Agree with Hyderabad but why "Makkah", Mecca is Mecca in English and in Indian English too. What does Deccan Times call this Mosque? Lonely Planet calls it Mecca Masjid. In ictu oculi (talk) 23:18, 14 September 2014 (UTC)
- Support move to Mecca Masjid, Hyderabad. Does need disambiguation, but "Mecca Masjid" seems to be commonly used-- Necrothesp (talk) 12:58, 15 September 2014 (UTC)
