Community Leader, Hawaiian Brown kross Hui
[edit]In the wake of the devastating fires in Maui on August 8, 2023, Makani utilized his logistical skills to connect urgent needs with available resources. He sprang into action, establishing the Brown Kross Hui to support those affected by the fires. The Brown Kross Hui box truck, driven by Makani, became a beacon of hope—a grassroots effort designed to serve the local community and address both immediate and transitional needs in the recovery process.
