Claim about companion piece to Carpaccio's Hunting in the Lagoon

What is the source for the statement that Majas on a Balcony is the companion piece to Carpaccio's Hunting in the Lagoon? The companion piece to Hunting in the Lagoon is Two Venetian Ladies, by the same artist. I cannot find any source stating that Goya knew this painting and used it as inspiration for Majas on a Balcony. 2A02:A45A:7DF6:1:1541:5820:9A14:640B (talk) 19:17, 9 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I discovered the same thing and therefore deleted the sentence. The Two Venetian Ladies are sitting on a balcony, and the previous editor must have confused them with Goya's Majas on the Balcony. Maurice Magnus (talk) 14:03, 10 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Pezzoli collection

I did some googling for a citation for this sentence in the first paragraph: A further copy, attributed to Leonardo Alenza, is in the Pezzoli collection, in Paris.^{[citation needed]} The closest thing to a Pezzoli collection I found was in Milan: Museo Poldi Pezzoli. The Wikipedia article has a long list of Italian painters at the museum, which does not include Alenza, although the list might be incomplete. I also googled "Paris art museums" and found a long list that does not include the Pezzoli collection. Perhaps we should delete the sentence, but I am not knowledgeable enough about the subject to feel confident in doing that. Maurice Magnus (talk) 01:00, 11 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
