Updating lead section

[edit]

Hi everyone, I'd like to update the lead section, which is currently outdated. I thought it could be done by taking advantage of the updated information already available in the article in Italian. Find below how I would update the section (what I would add is in bold). Let me know what you think. Ida Arjomand (talk) 14:16, 24 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Maire Tecnimont S.p.A. is an Italian group numbering 50 operating companies in the engineering, technology and energy main contracting sector.[1] It deals in plant engineering (oil and gas, chemicals and petrochemicals), in green chemistry and the technology supporting the energy transition.[2][3][4] , infrastructure and civil engineering. It is also active in the renewable energy sector, in the provision of project management, engineering, procurement and construction.

Maire Tecnimont manages large turnkey licensing, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects in different geographical areas. It operates in over 45 countries in four continents through a staff of around 6,300 employees.[5]

In November 2007 it was listed on the Milan Stock Exchange in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap index.[6][7]

Seems reasonable. Absent dissent, have made these changes. -- Euryalus (talk) 08:16, 12 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
