The map shown in this article does not show Kreis Maienfeld as mentioned, but the community of Maienfeld (see de:Maienfeld and de:Bündner Herrschaft respectively).--84.75.197.173 (talk) 23:51, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Removed mention of "invasion of the Roman Empire"

I have removed a sentence: "A settlement has existed in the Maienfeld area since at least the invasion of the Roman Empire." It seemed to imply that Maienfeld invaded the Roman Empire, which is not supported by the reference provided. The same reference does support the proposition (elsewhere in the article) that there was a third-century Roman station at Maienfeld. Frans Fowler (talk) 07:57, 26 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
