The article gave the years of Mukhtar Pasha's life as "(1867 - )". I have changed this to "(born 1867)" to avoid giving the impression he is still alive. --Kunal ^(Talk) 23:27, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Mahmud Mukhtar Pasha → Mahmud Muhtar Pasha– per WP:COMMONNAME

When we compare Mahmud Mukhtar Pasha and Mahmud Muhtar Pasha, I can know that Mukhtar was slightly more "common" than Muhtar.

Mukhtar (1800-2011):

"Mahmud Mukhtar Pasha" -Llc 192 results
[1] 0

Muhtar (1800-2011):

"Mahmud Muhtar Pasha" -Llc 89 results
"Mahmud Muhtar Pasha" -Llc 78 results

But when search without contemporaly and primary usage of his name, we can understand Muhtar is more common name in secondary and present usege.

Mukhtar (1923-2011):

"Mahmud Mukhtar Pasha" -Llc (1923-2011) 58 results
"Mahmud Mukhtar Pasa" -Llc 0

Muhtar (1923-2011):

"Mahmud Muhtar Pasha" -Llc (1923-2011) 89 results
