Ananda Gajapati Raju
[edit]There are two Ananda Gajapati Raju. How to separate them scientifically. Kindly advise.Dr. Rajasekhar A. 06:09, 7 April 2011 (UTC)
- There are two ways to do this.
- If both Ananda Gajapati Rajus are equally important, create a disambiguation page. For eg, Frank King. This should point to the articles on the specific people like (as an example) Ananda Gajapati Raju I and Ananda Gajapati Raju (politician)
- If one is much more famous than the other, Ananda Gajapati Raju should be his biography. It should also contain a pointer to the other person or (if there are 3 or more people with same name) another disambiguation page. Eg : Jahangir Khan and Anthony de Mello Tintin 08:01, 7 April 2011 (UTC)
Princely State?
[edit]Vijayanagaram Estate was not a princely state, but a zamindari within the Madras Presidency. Cf Maclean, Glossary of the Madras Presidency, Madras 1887; Narayana Murty, The Vijayanagaram Raj, being a short historical sketch. Calcutta 1917. Especially the latter discusses this point at length. The book starts with the sentence: "Vizianagaram is an ancient and impartable zamindari." p.1 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.64.105.58 (talk) 20:45, 2 June 2018 (UTC)
