[edit]Does anyone know the source of the grey-green scalemail, conical hats, and heart sacrifices references? I have left them in because I'm thinking they might be from Greyhawk material.
Found the reference to conical hats in Dungeon magazine issue #18. -- Maglubiyet 11:32, 19 October 2006
It's interesting to note that, while much of the material about Maglubiyet is repeated in all of the references, every single one of the sources has at least one unique fact not found anywhere else. -- Maglubiyet 11:07, 22 October 2006
Need to add in-line citations Maglubiyet (talk) 04:49, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
For the record, Maglubiyet is a Forgotten Realms specific deity. He is listed in the Forgotten Realms source books Faiths and Pantheons (in the monster deity section), Player's Guide to Faerun, Races of Faerun, and Silver Marches, just to name a few. He is also referred to in the Forgotten Realms specific adventure module, Into the Dragon's Lair, and in the Forgotten Realms novel, the Elves of Evermeet, among others. - Dragon Magazine 372, p33, lists Maglubiyet as an Exarch of Bane, while p26 (ibid) assures us that we are talking about the core D&D Bane here, not the Faerun Bane. They list Maglubiyet as a former god in this issue as well. Not sure how best to incorporate this info into the article. --Thomas B♘talk 09:00, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
