[edit]- The following discussion is an archived discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the move request was:
*Move Apple Magic Trackpad to Magic Trackpad over redirect.
*Move Apple Magic Mouse to Magic Mouse over redirect.
*No Consensus to move Apple Mighty Mouse, consider relisting at its own talk page as the suggested target was changed during this requested move and has not had enough time for feedback. Taelus (Talk) 15:54, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
Apple Magic Trackpad → Magic Trackpad — More concise name, per Wikipedia:MOSNAME#Common_names and User_talk:Mono#Gah.21. —mono 01:44, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
- Support Magic Trackpad and Magic Mouse, oppose Mighty Mouse (see Mighty Mouse). Airplaneman ✈ 01:58, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
- Add - I like fetchcomms' idea of renaming Mighty Mouse to Apple Mouse (model). Airplaneman ✈ 01:34, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose Mighty Mouse already exists and is not a redirect to the Apple product. As you have not nominated it for deletion, or anything else, you can't overwrite an existing article. 76.66.193.119 (talk) 03:27, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose the move overwriting Mighty Mouse - ridiculous idea. No vote yet on the others. Andrewa (talk) 07:05, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
- Support Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad, oppose Mighty Mouse. Support moving Apple Mighty Mouse to Apple Mouse (model) as it was renamed the "Apple Mouse" after legal issues with the Mighty Mouse name. —fetch·comms 19:22, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
- 'Comment: I have suggested Apple Mighty Mouse → Mighty Mouse (Apple) instead. —mono 23:36, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose both renames per the naming convention used by the summary style sections and subtopics of Apple Mouse. --Tothwolf (talk) 16:29, 1 August 2010 (UTC)
- Support all of the renames. Usb10 Let's talk 'bout it! 15:17, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

Mobile devices added
[edit]Since the TrackPad is supported by Android, Chrome OS, and presumably iOS, I've added the two that I'm certain of to the Supported OS section. I see no discussion of mobile OS "yea or nay" here, so discussion is encouraged. -- David Spalding (☎ ✉ ✍) 16:01, 31 March 2014 (UTC)
Can we add a section dedicated to the Magic Trackpad 2?
[edit]I also wanted the same be done for the Magic Mouse 2, both recently released by Apple last month. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zacchaeusbarbour (talk • contribs) 02:42, 4 November 2015 (UTC)
Support
[edit]That sounds like a good idea to me. 2002:43F4:3ABB:1234:A4ED:4387:1B01:30CC (talk) 23:11, 6 December 2015 (UTC)
