Renewable Initiative

[edit]

Suggest removing the unreferenced blurb about a "Renewable Initiative" from Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse 2, and Magic Trackpad 2; previous versions were already compatible with rechargeable AA batteries. --Makkachin (talk) 13:33, 23 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestions for further clean-up

[edit]

- Rename article to "Magic Keyboard (wireless)" to distinguish it from the internal MacBook keyboards or iPad clamshell keyboard case. This Magic Keyboard product line is compatible with iPad, iPhone, and Apple TV; the distinguishing feature is that it's wireless-capable, not Mac-compatible.

- Consolidate disambiguation (about internal MacBook keyboards and iPad keyboard case)

- Describe the distinguishing feature that separates the Magic Keyboard series from the Apple Wireless Keyboard series: supports both wired and wireless operation, supports wired-assisted Bluetooth pairing, supports wired charging

- Mention the compatibility with non-Apple devices

- Separate the remaining stuff that is highly specific to 1st generation (like the battery size listed in the sidebar)

- Clarify the widespread mislabeling of First Generation Magic Keyboard as "Magic Keyboard 2" due to its introduction alongside Magic Trackpad 2 and Magic Mouse 2 modestginger 08:08, 4 August 2021 (UTC)
