[edit]It is not 100% certain Magda's birth name was Lustigova, although most published sources cite it as such. Her father's name may have been Phillip Wiess from the town of Pecs in Hungary. Magda's first husband's name may have been Lustigova when she was married in a Jewish ceremony in Hungary just before the war. She later divorced her first husband after they both reached Palestine on a transport ship.It is correct that she subsequently married Frank Cordell her second husband-- in a civil wedding in England after the war.Ottex (talk) 21:54, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
Magda escaped near the outbreak of war from Hungary by transport ship during the "Danube Exodus".A documentary film has been produced by Peter Forgacs of this era and it was featured at the Getty.Ottex (talk) 16:51, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
The information about Magda's name, is interesting Ottex. How is it that you know this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Alexbitterman (talk • contribs) 16:04, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
