River Phoenix
[edit]Can a citation be taken from another wikipedia page? I don't know that River Phoenix is technically from the area, the story I heard going through highschool is that he was born while his family was passing through the area. The wikipedia page for River cites his birth location as Metolious, OR which is a few miles south of Madras.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 140.211.60.61 (talk • contribs) 19:50, August 4, 2006
- Please remember to sign your posts in the discussion. I can say without a doubt River Phoenix was born in Madras. I was raised there myself and know he was born in a cabin around the farmland of the area. Mrpulsar (talk) 11:10, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
