The Transept
The Transept is not notable in and of itself. It has been proposed that it be merged into this article. I support the proposal. Dekimasu 02:19, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
The Transept is a literary journal and not the same as a sports team or club of the University. It is a publication in and of its own right and adding The Transept does not cause any confusion with any existing entries. El cid1010 22:42, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
- Confusion with existing entries is not the issue here, though. If it is not to be merged, it should probably be sent to AfD. I do not believe that myspace and the publication of one issue of a student journal confer notability. Dekimasu 12:41, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
- Please also note that as the creator and primary contributor to the article, it was not very good form to remove the {{notability}} tag without adding any new information. Dekimasu 12:43, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, I'm new at the whole Wikipedia game so the removal of the notability tag was a bit noob-ish, mea culpa. You're probably right and it should be merged with Madonna University.El cid1010 01:46, 30 December 2006 (UTC) Articles have been merged, but a re-direct is on The Transept to Madonna University.El cid1010 02:02, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
Mother Mary Cynthia Strzalkowska
While I'm sure Mother Mary Cynthia Strzalkowska is an intelligent, accomplished woman, she does not meet Wikipedia's criteria for "notable." I Googled her name and found absolutely nothing except for links to wikipedia or non-wikipedia articles that took their information about Madonna University from wikipedia.
Polish traditions
Can somebody explain in article how is it associated with Poland? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 17:38, 21 February 2009 (UTC) I — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1009:B102:1CFB:1601:9A57:4297:FF25 (talk) 16:46, 9 September 2015 (UTC)

Unnecessary details in infobox
An unregistered editor is insisting that the infobox of this article include (a) the university's street address and (b) a complete listing of all of the intercollegiate sports in which the university competes. I strongly encourage him or her to read the documentation of the university infobox which clearly directs editors to "Please consider a discussion on the talk page before using [the street address] field." He or she should also review how the "Sports" parameter is used in other articles; at least at U.S. institutions where it's common to have one or two dozen athletic teams, this parameter is not used to list all of them because that is too much detail to cram into the infobox.
