Address restricted in error?

[edit]

It seems unusual, probably a National Register database entry error, for this historic district to be described as address-restricted. Probably contacting the National Register directly about this would clear it up. It should be possible to describe the bounds of the NRHP HD area; the name of the district does not sound like an archeological site whose location could legitimately be restricted. doncram (talk) 05:18, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe not. It was "address restricted" when it was first listed in the Federal Register. (See first column on the first page at this link.)
Furthermore, we don't actually know that the Madison St. Church mentioned in the article is in this district. This walking map of historic Clarksville identifies and describes two historic districts and several other National Register properties (including the church mentioned in the article), but it says nothing about the Madison St. HD, and it does not show the church as being within the boundaries of any HD. Also, the listing for the HD doesn't mention any buildings of religious function. I'm deleting the mention of church from this article.
I have a hunch that this preschool and this B&B might be in the district, but I have no actual information. --Orlady (talk) 12:39, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
