As per traditional texts Madhurakavi AzhwAr was existing during the end of Dvapara yuga and beginning Kali yuga. As per the wikipedia text of his guru Swamy NammaAzhwAr, the date given is 3102 B.C which is more appropriate than the 6th to 9th century as given for Madhurakavi AzhwAr.
