[edit]There is a statement in the article: "It was the historical impact of Madan Lal[3] which compelled British Government to call back M.K.Gandhi- an Indian advocate-cum-leader from South Africa and send him to India to cool down the boiling blood of youngesters there through non-violent strategy." The reference number 3 is a blog on the internet. I would like to know if citing blogs is appropriate on wikipedia. Moreover statement made above cannot be substantiated on historical evidences. Mahatma Gandhi returned to India in 1915, full 6 years after Dhingra was hanged. Moreover Gandhi returned to India on his own. He was not sent to India by British Government.
Editors, kindly look into the matter. Such sweeping statements can threaten the credibility of Wikipedia.

I just removed the lead sentence, which seems have been cited by User:Krantmlverma - citing his own poem to prove a point !!!! 08:10, 10 February 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 49.248.61.104 (talk)
Long drops are sometimes messy, but not "inhumane"
[edit]By and large, it's overly-short falls that cause a slow, tortured death on execution; while this contention may be properly sourced, it may also be factually wrong. Anmccaff (talk) 18:25, 13 May 2015 (UTC)

Last Words From Gallows
[edit]These can only be fictitious, because the rapidity of British execution procedure did not allow the condemned man to ramble on like that -- it was all done in a few seconds -- and there was no one present who would take down such a long speech.
